Santa Visits Barnes & Noble to Support the Bethlehem Center

Every once in a while, the best of everything comes together in one place. August 10, 2019 marks one such occasion, as the best bookstore in Chattanooga, brings some of the best local authors together to support the best inner-city youth program.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Aug. 1, 2019 - PRLog -- On that Saturday, Author Joe Moore will be one of the talented authors making an appearance from the Knoxville area to Barnes & Noble in Chattanooga. He is the award-winning and international author of The Christmas Eve Journey and Revenge of the Birds.

The fact that he portrays Santa Claus each year, makes this celebration even more fun for those attending. "Anything to help our children, especially those with fewer opportunities is important to me," said Moore, "I have spent the last sixteen years bringing smiles and more to our youth as Santa. The Bethlehem Center empowers inner-city youth and families to lead responsible lives by providing discipleship, education, and leadership development."

Moore has written fifteen books in a variety of genres including children's books, Christian family reads, young adult books, and even suspense thrillers. He is featuring his latest releases at Barnes and Noble from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd., Suite 315 in Chattanooga.

While Moore and other local authors are there, they will be supporting a Bookfair fundraiser going on from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm to help fund costs for The Bethlehem Center's after-school programs. The Bethlehem Center will be celebrating its Centennial in 2020. Moore said, "Imagine one hundred years of helping their fellow man and impacting lives. They certainly deserve our help and support. Plus by promoting literacy, they are guaranteeing a future for authors like myself."
