According to the Philadelphia Business Journal there were a record number of applications for the 2019 Best Places to Work for and every company included on the list had to reach a statistical benchmark to be included. So this years nominees all played on a very competitive field.

The ranking considered direct-to-employee surveys from businesses across the Philadelphia region as compiled by Quantum Market Research, a research and consulting firm. Employees were asked to rate their company on the following categories:

         • People

         • Embracing change/new ideas
