New Horizon Therapy Expansion: Set to Open in Prescott Valley, AZ

PRESCOTT, Ariz. - July 31, 2019 - PRLog -- The team at New Horizon Therapy is proud to announce their latest expansion - a second office located at 3001 Main Street, Suite 1C in Prescott Valley, AZ which is slated to open on August 12.

New Horizon Therapy is a speech language therapy practice with a focus on helping children to achieve their optimal potential.  Certified therapists provide evidence-based practices that empower children and their families as they grow.  Led by Armida Carr, M.S., CCC-SLP, the New Horizon Therapy team of seasoned professionals provides a customized approach that will foster positive communication experiences, enrich family relationships, and achieve healthy child development.

When asked about why Prescott Valley became the most logical next step to growing the practice, Ms. Carr replied, "We saw a real need that hadn't  been filled – months ago we were awarded a contract to serve Prescott Valley Charter School beginning the Fall 2019 school year.  After my first visit to the town and then over lunch with our friends at Yavapai Pediatrics, we decided an expansion to Prescott Valley was something we really wanted to do.  We wanted not only to visit the school weekly but desired a home base where we could offer services to children of all ages who may not attend the school.   Communication is an innate desire that all children have.  At New Horizon Therapy, we develop and foster a child's communication needs by tailoring treatment specific to their current abilities, while continuing to build their skills so they become confident, independent communicators.  We encourage our families to be a part of therapy and empower caregivers by providing the experience and resources they will need to carryover therapy targets in the home.  Every child deserves the opportunity to express themselves!  We're passionate about helping them do that!  We also accept most insurance plans and Medicaid.  We believe in inclusion and empowering children to reach their full potential."

Just 90 minutes north of their Tempe flagship location, the new office is conveniently located inside of Yavapai Pediatrics, a pediatric medical practice with an emphasis on prevention.
