DALLAS - July 30, 2019 - PRLog -- A new Kickstarter campaign is looking to give you a unique cultural experience for your weekend entertainment.  Storied Perspectives is an idea by author J. R. Martin of Dallas.  The goal, create a cultural event where people can listen to storytellers compete for a cash prize.  People in the audience will get to vote on their favorite storyteller, helping narrow the field of 8 competitors down to 1.

J. R. Martin says, "People have been sharing stories since the days of cavemen.  I believe that if we can come together to listen to each other's stories, we can create a bridge of understanding and compassion."  He goes on to say, "…I also want to find new ways to generate exposure for creators."  J. R. thinks that great stories should inspire people.  "Have you ever heard a story that made you want to get up and change something about yourself?  I want to share stories like that, inspiring ones.  Maybe these stories can motivate you to greatness."
