Drive Japan Looks to Crowdfunding to Create New Self-Guided Driving Routes in Hokkaido

TAITO-KU, Japan - July 30, 2019 - PRLog -- Drive Japan are looking to raise money via crowdfunding in order to expand their range of locations that they can cater for when helping tourists in Japan on driving trips. With the number of tourists in Japan increasing year on year, and the amount of tourists that chooses to go on a self-driving tour is also increasing by 140% each year.

This increase of visitors that are renting cars has led to a gap appearing between what is being done and what can be done to help these car renters. For the most part, many visitors look to tour companies but with many tours exceedingly overpriced, the visitors try to plan their own trip.

         "One problem that arises when trying to do so, is that many of the maps or information given on the internet isn't checked or is inaccurate, leading to plans going astray," states Takujiro Oto, President of Drive Japan. "So we started Drive Japan to help both give correct information to the visitors, as well as reduce some of the stress that they may feel when preparing a trip here."

         Drive Japan helps with the planning of trips in Kyushu and Okinawa with their target being visitors that have had chance to explore Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.

         Drive Japan therefore are looking at using crowdfunding to raise money to help fund costs such as accommodation and so on, as they travel around Hokkaido collecting important data that will allow them to perfect travel maps that they will then be able to disseminate to the public. By doing so they can help those that wish to tour in Japan with planning as well as collating data to make information more up to date.
