By: Flagler County Sportfishing Club
"Anytime we can give back to our veterans, it's a great day," said Club President Captain Chuck Gleichman. "The money donated was raised through our 23rd Annual Spring Classic Fishing Tournament,"
The club has approximately 340 members with about 1/3 of them whom are veterans.
There were 90 boats and one kayak that entered the tournament this year. It was led by co-directors Dana Syens and Rita Waddell and had 128 participants, up from 110 last year.
