Alliance Technologies' Alan Riedisser Named A St. Louis Hero In Business

Riedisser helped Alliance transition from an outsourced to an in-house help desk department in 2017 and was recognized for his high-level of expertise in customer service. Understanding when customers call a computer help-line there is usually a problem, and are often frustrated and on-edge, Riedisser treats customers with sympathy, kindness and a high level of knowledge.
"We are the triage unit for our customers. We get all kind of alerts for things like sever performance, backups not running, etc. We handle every call and decide if the help desk can handle it or if it needs to be escalated to one of our engineers," Riedisser said.
"Alliance really tries to build relationships with our customers and I'll wager 90% of our clients will know me by name. I try not to jump into their immediate problems. I ask them about their recent vacations, family and more. We've built a lot of trust with our customers."
The in-house help line has become a major success for Alliance. Riedisser and his team not only solve technical issues but also ease the frustration on their clients. This effort has earned the department a 98% customer satisfaction rating.
