YARDLEY, Pa. - July 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Since 2014, Exact Solar has been named a Solar Power World Top 500 Solar Contractor in North America every year. Mark Bortman, owner of Exact Solar, is especially proud of the fact that the company's strategy pays off. Each year, the company's relative Top 500 Solar Contractor ranking improves. This year, the company moved up to the 269th installer in the U.S. from 318th the year before.

"Rather than focus exclusively on maximum sales, we have deliberately positioned the company to put customers first and to conservatively manage our growth. This way, we not only ensure that every customer is well served, but our employees have the highest job security we can give them," says Mark. "This strategy has served the company well for over a decade, and kept our customers thrilled. It is validated with every Top Contractor ranking."

"Solar Power World enjoys assembling the Top Solar Contractors list each year, and our 2019 edition features hundreds of companies making big impacts in local energy markets," said Kelly Pickerel, editor in chief of Solar Power World. "Solar power is becoming competitive with traditional electricity sources in more markets, and cities and states are demanding more renewable energy options. It's a great time to be a solar installer, and we're happy to highlight the best installation companies in the country on our list."

The Pennsylvania solar market is experiencing a minor renaissance thanks to improved renewable energy and solar policies enacted in the last year. These changes have strengthened the Solar Renewable Energy Certificate (SREC) values. Now, solar power generated by each homeowner and business is more profitable each year.

In New Jersey, solar savings potential continues to be strong. However, state lawmakers promise a change in future SREC policies, making it more important for residents to act soon.

Across the U.S., the solar market is expected to see 14% growth in 2019, with over 12 GW of new solar power added to the grid. By January 1, 2020, the scheduled federal tax credit will drop from 30% to 26%. So far, analysts predict the market will remain strong, proving resilience to both incentive changes and market forces like trading policies including Chinese solar panel tariffs, among others.

According to Mark Bortman, "We have been stressing to people considering solar the importance of acting as soon as possible to lock down the highest incentives and also take advantage of the best pricing in history." Mark further adds that there isn't an emergency. "With the known changes to tax credits and some uncertainty about future policies, people should know that the best rates and savings are available right now. Today it is a challenge to predict exactly what future savings will be. Solar will still offer tremendous savings and return on investment."
