Sponsors and artists looking for sponsors

Whether you are an artist looking for sponsors, or a business looking to grow your brand

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - July 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Artists, you need to look at yourself as a business. Businesses, you need marketing! With the constant changing of social media platforms and systems, how do you move forward? Although social media changes, there are some things that have not changed. We would suggest direct marketing. There are alot of people and businesses that are simply putting out posts on social media, without creating direct conversations. It is commonly accepted that meeting someone face to face is and always will be the most effective way of creating a "connection" with them. It has never been more simple to speak to someone direct on Facebook messenger, google hangouts or other platforms. If you are in the music business or any other business, this concept will work the same. When starting Rosner Management Services 7 years ago, I was told many things that over the years I found were just people spreading the same bad information over and over because "that was the way it was years ago so why try something different". I was lucky, my father taught me to go where no one else was!  That proved to be the "secret sauce". Also in this way, I have seen multiple people try and copy what we are doing only to find that we are already onto the next step. It speaks to originality! Be yourself! Stay true to your vision, create bridges to each other and build a network.  Another simple concept that every person or business wants to know is.... "what's in it for them" as my associate Praveen Varshney from Varshney Capital has pointed out to me many times. Sometimes this is simple like with our sponsor "Maxogram". It was an instant fit, however it still took us roughly one year to finalize an agreement, so be prepared to come back to the table and let things "simmer" if needed. Most people fall short because they try once or twice and then stop following up. You won't close 100% of the people you approach but you WILL lose 100% of the opportunities if you "drop the ball". Follow-up and consistency are actually the key component. No one likes a "cherry picker". If you can follow these general rules of engagement, you will attain sponsors and if you are a business, you will  grow your brand no matter what the new social media craze is at the time!
