New artisan food marketplace launched out of tech hub Lisbon

LISBON, Portugal - July 23, 2019 - PRLog -- FlavourPost has just launched to build a community for artisans, food merchants and customers who are looking for speciality products and ingredients.

Aiming to become the Etsy of independent food businesses, FlavourPost has created an online listing platform where artisans can list their products for free and clients can browse through the catalogue of various food products. In addition to the free listings, to support the independent businesses, commission on sales is kept as low as 3% for all sales made through the platform.

The ethos behind FlavourPost stemmed from a wish to connect artisans and independent food businesses with clients both locally and from all over the world. As the interest for specialist produce is growing, FlavourPost is looking to make it easier for customers to find items and have them either ordered for pickup or sent directly to their doorstep from the merchant.

The marketplace is now open for merchant applications and is looking forward to growing the community both locally in Europe and to expand worldwide in the next months.
