About CALCUTTA HERITAGE COLLECTIVE: CALCUTTA HERITAGE COLLECTIVE is a voluntary initiative aimed to build pride in our city's built heritage through a broad range of activities such as helping with conservation and restoration, creative re-use of properties and spreading awareness. Our members include architects, artists, event managers, heritage experts, developers, photographers and concerned citizens united by a love for Calcutta and a commitment to honoring our unique and irreplaceable inheritance by marrying heritage with responsible urban development. This is an inclusive initiative aimed at involving students, homeowners, senior citizens, professionals and entrepreneurs in our long-term mission of retaining and reviving the architectural beauty of the city. All around us is evidence of what our ancestors have built to the highest standards of proportion, detailing, accuracy, and care – a treasure - leaving us a choice: to preserve or let our heritage parish.
