Ms. Ollie explained that the activists will continue escalating their tactics, generating political and social momentum to enact laws that protect animals. Their goal is to shut down ITR Labs and other animal torture chambers in Quebec.
The activists protested outside of ITR Labs for over 100 times since the airing of CTV's W5 undercover footage exposing the beatings, confinement and poisoning of dogs, monkeys and pigs in ITR Labs: https://www.ctvnews.ca/
"Nothing has been done to punish the lab, to take corrective action, and, most importantly, to phase out cruel product testing on animals in Canada" said Ms. Ollie.
