Grandmaster Darren Tibon to Present Serrada Escrima Seminar at the Masters Hall of Fame

COSTA MESA, Calif. - July 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Grandmaster Darren Tibon, a master in the Filipino martial art of Serrada Escrima, will present a seminar session on the art at the 20th Anniversary Masters Hall of Fame Celebration on Saturday, July 27, at the Hilton Orange County Costa Mesa. The session will close out the seminar series that also includes Kaiso Frank Dux (The Triangle of Force) and Senior Master of the Art Bob White (Ed Parker Kenpo).

Grandmaster Tibon was a student of the great Escrima Grandmaster Angel Cabales and is a driving force in the teaching of Serrada Escrima. He is also a member and strong promoter of the United States Filipino Martial Arts Federation. Grandmaster Tibon began his study in Serrada Escrima in 1981 under advanced students of Grandmaster Cabales, later having the privilege of studying directly from the Grandmaster himself. In 1991, following the death of Cabales, Grandmaster Tibon and Master Jerry Preciado founded Angel's Disciples Escrima Association to carry on the legacy.

The Masters Seminars are free to Masters guests and inductees. However, donations will be accepted on behalf of the Royal Family Kids Camp, an organization dedicated to supporting foster children.
