We regularly wash our hands but rarely our phones. According to several academic studies our phones contain more bacteria than toilet seats. It includes nasty bacteria such as e-coli, salmonella and staphylococcus, as warned by CDC and NIH.

Running water and soap are often inaccessible, especially when we are traveling or commuting. Single-use wipes and hand sanitizers add up to waste and pollution or simply are not there when you need them the most. It takes years to dissolve an average wet wipe and a lot of effort to clean waters of toxic cleaning chemicals.
