Shelley Grierson up for inaugural #MsGreatBritain Competition

CANTERBURY, U.K. - July 16, 2019 - PRLog -- Our very own Director of Marketing, Shelley Grierson, is a finalist in the 2019 / 2020 Miss Great Britain pageant. She is taking part in the inaugural over 27's category of "Ms Great Britain". She was featured by the Kentish Gazette newspaper recently for her goals and achievements around the competition, and for supporting women in business in general.

After having met the former Miss Congo UK via Linkedin, she was drawn to the idea due to the recent changes in rules, supporting women of older ages into the competition. Outside of her work at Space Between, Shelley is a mentor for young women in business, as founded #LinkedinLadies networking group in Kent.

"Anything I can do to lead by example for challenging yourself or stereotypes, I am happy to be a part of" she says. The winner will be selected from effort over the next 6 months in PR, social work and charity fundraising. The official charities this year are Cancer Research UK and Alex's Wish. It is the 75th anniversary of the Miss Great Britain Competition this year, making the inaugural 'Ms' category that much more meaningful.
