ACEC/MA Awards Natasha Leipziger Mundis the Education Corporation President's Scholarship

BOSTON - July 11, 2019 - PRLog -- The American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) has awarded the Education Corporation President's Scholarship to Natasha Leipziger Mundis.

Leipziger Mundis is in the senior year of her undergraduate studies at Northeastern University and will continue studying upon graduation to work towards a combined Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and Master's Degree in Structural Engineering. While earning two degrees at

once, Leipziger Mundis is an intern at a local engineering firm and startup company, work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, works as a resident assistant and volunteers her time at the Dorchester Boys and Girls club and on Northeastern's campus as an Ambassador. She is also a member of Northeastern's Steel Bridge Club and has been a member of Engineers Without Borders.

The 2019 Engineering Excellence Awards and Scholarships were announced at the recent ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence and Awards Gala with special guest emcees Jonathan L. Gulliver, Highway Administrator at MassDOT and Frederick A. Laskey, Executive Director of MWRA.

"We are pleased to recognize and assist the next generation of engineering professionals," said Michael J. Walsh, PE, President of ACEC/MA and Vice President of CDM Smith. "We congratulate Natasha on her outstanding achievements."
