Los Angeles 'Uplifting Minds II' Entertainment Conference Returns to Los Angeles Convention CenteEURweb Publisher Lee Bailey, TV Personality Melody Trice and PR Guru Edna Sims Among Professionals to Speak on 'ULMII' November 9, 2019 Panel
Maybe one of the longest running entertainment conferences in Los Angeles "Uplifting Minds II" was founded in 1999 by Eunice Moseley, Promotions Director of The Baltimore Times, as "Uplifting Minds" to introduce a younger audience to the newspaper. Because of its popularity Moseley started a "spin-off" called "Uplifting Minds II" and added annual dates in the Los Angeles, Houston and Atlanta communities to educate young artists, producers and managers and showcase aspiring singers, songwriters and dancers. The acting category was added in 2017. "ULMII" arrived in Los Angeles in 2001 with Lee Bailey among those professionals to provide their knowledge to the aspiring. Through the years other panelists include comedian Luenell, Grammy winning Brenda Russell, Grammy winning Deniece Williams, Keke Palmer, MC Lyte, and Ellia English ("Good Luck Charlie"). A free conference, "ULMII," has an impressive success record of helping to launch careers. Some of the industry's most known artists today careers were launch at the "ULMII" event, they include Grammy Award winning Miguel, actress Naturi Naughton (STARZ "Power"), songwriters/ (Photo: A scene from "ULMII" of the panelists at the LAX Four-Point Sheraton in 2009) www.UpliftingMinds2.com or info@thepulseofentertainment.com.
