Peachtree Immediate Care Now Serving Veterans with Urgent Care NeedsBy: CRH Healthcare The recent implementation of the VA Mission Act has allowed Peachtree Immediate Care to become one of the few urgent care clinics allowed by the VA to treat veterans. "We're excited that the Act has gone into effect," says Bill Miller, a US Navy veteran himself and the CEO of CRH Healthcare, the parent company of Peachtree Immediate Care. "There are over 350,000 veterans in the greater Atlanta area, and we're proud to have the ability to provide them with the care they need on a walk-in basis, close to home in their communities." Based on provisions of the law, most veterans are now eligible to seek treatment at Peachtree Immediate Care's urgent care facilities for injuries and illnesses that require immediate attention but are not life-threatening. Examples include flu-like symptoms, strep throat, minor burns, pink eye, ear/skin infections, diagnostic x-rays, diagnostic lab testing, urgent medications and more. "Veterans will appreciate our clinics due to their extended hours, the ability to check-in online and our commitment to patient satisfaction," ------------------------------------------------------------ To learn more, visit the VA's website at VA.gov, or go directly to https://www.va.gov/ About CRH Healthcare CRH Healthcare (CRH) was founded in 2012 to build a consumer- and quality-focused urgent care center industry leader through both acquisitions and de novo development.
