"Anton Caragea" Presidential Institute opened in Turkmenistan

BRUSSELS - July 5, 2019 - PRLog -- The Institute for the research and implementation of Sustainable Development Goals named after President Anton Caragea was unveiled in a public ceremony on the ocassion of The Days of Sustainable Development Goals opened at the Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by visiting delegation of European Council on Tourism and Trade, European Tourism Academy, European Diplomatic Academy, Parliamentary Assembly for Sustainable Development Goals and the heads and officers of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the International University of Humanities and Development, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi, as well as representatives of the media.

The PROF.DR. ANTON CARAGEA INSTITUTE  FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS mission is to promote just and sustainable societies and to protect the environment by advancing the understanding, development, and implementation of effective, and accountable systems of governance for sustainable development.

The PROF.DR. ANTON CARAGEA INSTITUTE  FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS was also established in Kazakhstan from the beginning of 2019.

The Turkmenistan side presented the concept and directions of work of the Institute for Sustainable Development to the international academic community. He highlighted that thanks to the extensive activity of  Prof.Dr. Anton Caragea in the post of President of European Council on Tourism and Trade by launching global projects as WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM and WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION, ECTT Tourism Impact Program, sustainable tourism programs and other projects have been initiated as well as the goals of sustainable development of tourism and culture, the creation of Academician Anton Caragea, noted turkmen side.
