Volcanoes and Their Impact on Air Quality Discussed in New Video
The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
"Volcanoes can have a major impact on air quality, even in places great distances away from an eruption," said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. "Volcanic ash can travel hundreds to thousands of miles downwind from a volcano and gases released, like sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and hydrogen fluoride, can also alter the environment and potentially pose a risk to people. We hope this new video helps to shed some light on the benefits and hazards associated with volcanic activity."
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
