By: Go New Forest
With its stunning Solent backdrop, Bath Road Park hosts the free two-day festival which takes place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August and this year is raising money for the RNLI.
An estimated 15,000 people attended last August and with an even greater array of seafood stalls set to attend, combined with live music, local gin's, and award winning English sparkling wine Exton Park Vineyard.
Led by The Jetty's Chef Patron Alex Aitken, who will be joined by over fourteen talented chefs including 2016 Masterchef winner Jane Devonshire.
With over 150 different dishes including lobster mac n'cheese, scallops, cockle popcorn, soft shell crab, shrimp burgers, mackerel, gurnard and oysters – there's no chance of leaving hungry!
With live music across the weekend and views across the Solent estuary the event is becoming one of the south coast's leading festival for foodies.
For those wanting to make a weekend of it, the stunning Georgian market town of Lymington is just minutes from the wider New Forest with miles of woodlands to explore and attractions to take in. From five-star boutique hotels or family run B&B's there's a budget for everyone.
Parking is available at Woodside Park which is about a 15-minute walk to Bath Road Park, and costs £5 for the day. Post code SO41 8JG. For more information visit www.lymingtonseafoodfestival.co.uk.
