The July Art of the Day calendar.
The Barebrush July calendar begins with a hot nude clad in shirtsleeves (only), striking a cool pose. The oil painting, Elyse (Painting 57) is by Richard White, a Barebrush Featured Artist working in Coventry, CT. The tones of blue and green soothe our overheated sensibilities. Even though the nude is hot and the day is hot, our sense of the painting is cool: New England greenery along an old stone wall in the quiet shade.
July features 31 artworks: fine art nudes, portraits, landscapes and more. Three works of particular note are the wind-swept photo, Sunshine and Blue Sky by Peter Wong King on July 7th, another shirt-sleeved beauty in oil, Dee by Ed Hicks on July 14th, and a watercolor, The Mirror by New York artist, Chanit Roston at month end.
To see these artworks, you can look for the secret link that will let you see the entire month of art on day one, or just click on the calendar link at the end of this sentence and you will see that all will be revealed in time...
On the last day of the month, the current calendar becomes completely visible on the Barebrush website. July will be revealed day by day.
