Introducing No Workplace Drama Day – Coming October 25, 2019

SAN DIEGO - June 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Creative Flow Arts & Entertainment is proud to present No Workplace Drama Day -- a day to promote mental health awareness in the workplace.

On October 25, 2019, everyone is invited to wear their purchased T-shirt, mug or pin to work to take a stand in promoting positive and stress-free work environments. A portion of the purchases will be donated to Mental Health America in an effort to fight against mental illness and suicide.

T-Shirts, mugs and pins can be purchased at https://www.NoWorkplaceDramaDay.com

Mental health disorders are real illnesses that often cause people to suffer silently. And, unfortunately, there is still a stigma associated with them.

Having discussions and raising awareness about mental health are the first steps to combating the stigma. Moreover, advocating for mental illness and giving back to the mental health community can be extremely powerful for both families and patients.

Tamera Hill, Founder of No Workplace Drama Day, as well as Founder of Creative Flow Arts & Entertainment, and esteemed Screenplay Writer and Director, is passionate about helping others find their voice in their communities.

She is known for issue-heavy dramas including film "Never Heard" now playing on Netflix. Hill's background is also in producing stage plays. She produced "Workplace Drama", a play that takes a lighter approach to a heavy-rooted issue, in 2014. "Workplace Drama", with the slogan "All Play and no Work", highlights a day in corporate life including workday politics, and even love and romance.

Hill wrote this play to make light of her own workplace drama experiences and discovered everyone could relate with the characters on stage just as she had. Some saw themselves and others they work with live and in living color. It made them look at their work experiences, themselves and co-workers through a different lens.

"Our goal is for each employer and/or employee to decide what they want to do to make their environment a more stress-free one come October 25; maybe throw an office party, or give a small gesture of kindness towards your co-worker that day," suggests Hill. "Together, let's raise awareness of mental health and how to keep our workplaces stress free so we can wake up happy and go to sleep happy."

To participate in this year's No Workplace Drama Day and support mental health research and programs, purchase your T-Shirt, mug or pin at https://www.NoWorkplaceDramaDay.com
