Follow on Google News | Underprivileged Students and Rural Women Employment Program by Valliappa FoundationValliappa Foundation in collaboration with Tech Mahindra Foundation is providing vocational training and placement for students below poverty line and rural women.
Last two years, Valliappa Foundation has tied up with Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF) in Chennai. TMF has chosen us the chosen partner for its free medical program. It has been providing medical coding training to the students who are below poverty line. This training is conducted for 6 months where how medical coding works is taught. The department of Science and Technology and its Science for Equity, Empowerment and Development (SEED) branch has organized a training for rural women in Salem worth 1.30 crores. The program involves training women in Solar Food Processing, Pulse Planting for Silver Anklet, and sewing machine for all differently abled women. There is also training and development of Paper Blocks and Waste Paper Recycling. The entire program will enable many helpless disabled students and women to earn a healthy living. The vision of Valliappa Foundation is to become an institute of great repute all fields by offering full range of programs of global research to foster research and create students of global potential.
