RALEIGH, N.C. - June 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Bailey's Fine Jewelry is dedicated to helping "fight hunger right here at home" by donating to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina (the Food Bank) through its Say I Do, Share the Love campaign. For every engagement ring purchased from any Bailey's Fine Jewelry location, Bailey's will donate funds for 250 meals, which can feed a North Carolina family of four for an entire month.

The meals are donated to the Food Bank and will be distributed to its network of more than 800 non-profit partners who are on the front lines fighting hunger.

Bailey's has supported the Food Bank for many years and previously donated a percentage of proceeds from the sale of any ring in Bailey's Signature collection, a curated collection designed by the Bailey's team. Wanting to make an even bigger impact on local hunger, Bailey's has expanded this campaign to include all engagement rings.

"We're in the Love business at Bailey's and that means more than just jewelry," said Trey Bailey of Bailey's Fine Jewelry. "It's vital to us to show our love back to the communities we're fortunate enough to work and live in through our actions. Donating to the Food Bank through our Say I Do, Share the Love campaign is one essential and impactful way we can give back and fight hunger right here at home."

Distributing 58 million meals worth of food last year, the Food Bank serves more than 600,000 people who are facing hunger in its 34-county service area. One in five of those people are children.

"Thousands of families will be fed thanks to this wonderful partnership with Bailey's and we are sincerely thankful for their continued support," said Peter Werbicki, President &CEO of the Food Bank.

The Say I Do, Share the Love campaign is one of many philanthropic projects taken on by Bailey's, including the successful A Time to Give program in which patrons can receive a free watch battery in exchange for a donation to a selected charity. Bailey's has raised more than $570,000 for local non-profits through A Time to Give.

The Say I Do, Share the Love campaign will kick off July 1 at all Bailey's Fine Jewelry locations. To celebrate the launch of the program, Bailey's and the Food Bank are teaming up to offer an exciting giveaway in which one person will win a 1 ct. pear shaped diamond engagement ring!

The giveaway can be entered in two ways: either by dropping off non-perishable items in the designated Food Bank barrels at each Bailey's Fine Jewelry location (especially needed items include:  canned fruits and vegetables, canned meat, canned beans and soup, cereal, whole grain pasta and rice, peanut butter, hygiene items, paper products, diapers, wipes, Pedialyte, infant cereal and nutritional shakes) or by donating virtually at www.foodbankcenc.org/goto/baileys. The winner of the diamond ring will be announced Aug. 12.
