NEW YORK - June 24, 2019 - PRLog -- Researchers at Germany's RWTH Aachen University have recently studied a substantial amount of research trials which have shown that Selenium (Se) deficiency can lead to chronic cardiovascular diseases, in addition to increased  sub-optimal function of organs following heart operations.  Various research has also analyzed the effects of Se administration peri-operatively.

RWTH Aachen University's current research investigates extensively the physiopathology and negative effects during heart surgery, how Se may respond to such negative effects, the various kinds of Se administration tactics that have been assessed, as well as their clinical effects.
