626 Holdings, Inc. Donates $25,000 To Salah Foundation Children's Hospital Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - June 24, 2019 - PRLog -- 626 Holdings, Inc., an imaging service solutions company headquartered in Delray Beach, has made a $25,000 donation to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Salah Foundation Children's Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A room in the NICU will be named after the company and the donation will go toward supporting the programs and services of the hospital.

The official room dedication at the children's hospital will occur on June 26, a date very special to company founders Philip Revien and Michael Fischer.  It was on June 26, 2012, that Revien, CEO of 626, and Fischer, CFO, first met each other in the maternity ward of a South Florida hospital, the day each of their sons were born. The vision for 626 (a tribute to their sons' birth dates) was also born that day along with their passion for improving patient care.

"Improving patient experience and care, especially pediatric care, is extremely important to our team at 626," says Revien.  "We feel fortunate to be able to give back and we encourage all who are able to do so as well."

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 10 percent of babies born in the U.S. are born prematurely. These babies typically need specialized equipment and dedicated teams because they are critically ill, or have medical complications.  The private room setting not only protects fragile babies better from infections, it also provides better bonding between parents and babies.

According to Fischer, giving back is an integral part of the company.  "We have made volunteering and financially contributing to charities a part of our corporate culture, from the day we founded 626, Phil and I committed ourselves to helping our community as much as possible."
