Kelseyville Mobile Home Park supports Lake County Land Trust

LAKEPORT, Calif. - June 20, 2019 - PRLog -- While Mark Twain famously quipped "Buy land, they ain't making any more of it" the owners of Kelsey Creek Mobile Home Park in Kelseyville have a more modern twist on the saying.  "Preserve land, they ain't making any more of it," says Linda Sherwood, co-owner of Kelsey Creek MHP.

Kelsey Creek MHP recently donated a portion of its earnings to the Lake County Land Trust during its "Spring Appeal". The Lake County Land Trust is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization based in Lakeport California, whose mission is to protect land and water resources of important value on behalf of present and future generations.

"Providing housing options to the people of Lake County within our Kelsey Creek MHP community is an important use of land," adds Sherwood. "Equally as important is the protection and preservation of open space and fresh water in Lake County, and we are happy to be a small part of this amazing community's support for the Land Trust."

Kelsey Creek Mobile Home Park is a 71-space all-age community in the town of Kelseyville, near the south shore of Clear Lake, providing space and amenities to manufactured home owners.

Lake County Land Trust promotes such offerings as the Rodman Preserve and Natured Education Center in Upper Lake as well as its most current conservation project, a gorgeous 200-acre parcel of land situated in the heart of the Big Valley Wetlands area.
