Desert Foothills Theater announces 2019-20 productions

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - June 19, 2019 - PRLog -- The Desert Foothills Theater recently announced its performances for the 2019-2020 season.

Productions include:

-          "Pirates of Penzance, Jr.", auditions on July 27-28 with performances Sept. 27 – Oct. 6, ages 13-19;

-         "Annie Get Your Gun", auditions Sept. 16-17 with performances Nov. 8 – 24, all ages;

-         "And Then There Were None", auditions Nov. 16-17 with performances Jan. 17 – 26, 2020, ages: 16 – 105;

-         "Honk Jr.", auditions Dec. 7-8 with performances Feb. 14 – 23, 2020, ages 6-16;

-         "Steel Magnolias",  auditions Jan. 25-26, 2020 with performances March 27 - April 5, ages 16-105;

-         "Fair Game" (new original musical by local playwright), auditions Feb. 22, 2020 with performances April 17-19;

-         "Godspell", auditions March 14-15, 2020 with performances May 8-17, ages 16-105;

-         "Freud's Last Session - Traveling Show" in rehearsals now, accepting bookings now;

-         "Sylvia - Traveling show" - auditions and performances to be determined, accepting inquiries now;

-         "The Variety Show" performances  Sept. 29, 2020 with talent auditions in August --singing, acting, comedians, magic, performance;

-         "Masked Madness" on Oct. 26, 2020, fundraiser for the theater that includes dinner, drinks, desserts, games, silent auction and entertainment;

-         "Yes Virginia There is a Santa Claus" with performances on Dec. 20-22, 2020;

-         "Play in a Day" on March 7, 2020; and

-         "Kids Korner" on May 7-10, 2020, second graders write the plays, adults perform them and hilarity ensues.
