It gave her relief from the bullying, lack of family, and low self-esteem she experienced, and music quickly became a permanent part of her life. She released tracks including "Talk to Me" and "Any Other Girl" but left performance behind to raise her four children and develop her daughters' vocal group Karma. She created and booked Karma's "What Goes Around Comes Around" Stop The Bullying School Tour, which visited over 1000 schools in four years. It was a live concert play on wheels that lit up the faces of the kids watching and listening, many of whom had never seen a live show before.
Before long, other parents took notice of Temmora's achievements with Karma and asked her to work with their own children. She began with a handful of students, but her program grew quickly, leading to the founding of Temmora's artist development school Arommet Academy, which teaches young people the skills and attitudes needed to become musicians, dancers, actors, and models. The school became a great success and put Temmora on the path to her new Lifetime show.
Some of Temmora's music influence artist include Aretha Franklin, Adele, Toni Braxton, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Beyonce, Tina Turner. Patti Labelle, and Chaka Khan but has a fierce individuality that keeps her work in its own creative space. She is actually influenced by all artists because she feels anyone that has the courage to get up on a stage and present their thoughts in music is impressive,"
