IBT of Miami wins $21 million contract to build school in Panama

"We are excited to build this school, which will benefit the people in the community of Ernesto Cordova Campos in the Panama District of Panama. IBT has a successful history of building public works projects in Panama and is prepared to make the school happen on time and on budget," said Daniel Toledano, managing director and chief operating officer of IBT.
IBT will build a structure consisting of 66 classrooms, a library, laboratories, gymnasium and other sports areas, including a mini soccer field, and administrative offices. With a branch office in Panama City and specialized in infrastructure construction, IBT has built and equipped several hospitals in Panama. In addition, the company operates 16 hemodialysis treatment centers around the country that it built and equipped.
The school, referred to as the Integral Training Center Corredor de los Pobres, will benefit an area with a population of 60,000. It will be situated on the Paseo Panamá Norte in the Ernesto Cordova Campos suburb about 10 miles north of downtown Panama City. It is scheduled to be completed in October 2020.
