MUNICH - June 18, 2019 - PRLog -- ECT (European Computer Telecoms AG), Europe's leading communications software company for the realization of value-added services in next-generation networks, has signed a contract with one of Europe's biggest mobile operators for the provision of a highly-customized unified communications (UC) and virtual PBX (VPBX) solution for the next three years, commencing June 1st, 2019. With this solution, the carrier, a major player in the region, will target large enterprises and municipalities, with thousands of subscribers per organization.

The UC and VPBX solution, a custom-built service for the specific needs of the operator, has a minimum contract value of over 5 million euros, with monthly licensing, and is provided through the operator's own telco cloud. The carrier is also migrating current subscribers from various legacy solutions to ECT's Next-Generation Intelligent Network (IntellECT® NGIN), which is integrated via IMS in their own voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) network.
