EQUIS accreditation is administered by EFMD* and is one of the most prestigious international accreditations for premier international business schools. Today, only 182 of the 15,000 business schools in the world (approximately 1%) are EQUIS-accredited. It has over 890 member organizations from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 88 countries. EFMD's key objective is to regulate issues surrounding business education, assist in the development of educational institutions, and establish standards for the quality of business education by creating a uniform assessment system.
