The Express Entry system was launched by the federal government of Canada, to manage the pool of aspiring new immigrants who qualify to enter Canada under the Federal Skilled Trades Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class, and Canadian Experience Class, which constitute the three primary economic-based immigration programs in Canada Candidates who are eligible for either one or all of the programs are ranked based on a comprehensive score that is calculated based on their education, experience and personal profile, which evaluates their ability to contribute effectively to the Canadian economy and assimilate successfully into the Canadian society.
