"The Bay Loves KD" fundraises for Kevin Durant Charity Foundation ahead of Oracle Arena Finale
GoFundMe created to raise $19,596, a dollar for every seat at Oracle Arena

Recognizing that Game 6 will be the final Warriors game at Oracle Arena (the team will move to San Francisco's Chase Center this offseason), they came up with a simple, effective idea to show Durant that the Bay Area has his back in sickness and health: raise a dollar for every seat at Oracle Arena and donate the sum to the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation (KDCF).
"We're just a group of Bay Area mom fans who love basketball, Warriors team spirit, and a great cause: public education," said Shohara. "And, of course, the amazing athletes like KD who put it all on the line."
All proceeds to the group's GoFundMe campaign, titled "The Bay Loves KD," will go directly to KDCF (EIN: 462353335), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that "enriches the lives of at-risk youth from low-income backgrounds through educational, athletic and social programs." "Warriors fans, for 47 seasons we've let the basketball world hear our roar," said Morris. "It's only right that tonight we once again unite and show our true strength in numbers."
