Wrights Plastics complete 8m LED signage project for TEDxGlasgow

WEST BROMWICH, U.K. - June 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Wrights Plastics was commissioned to create an 8m illuminated sign to take pride of place at the all-day event at Glasgow's famous SEC Armadillo Conference Centre on 14^th June.

Following a rigorous tendering process the West Bromwich-based company was selected on their understanding of the brief and their ability to meet the project's complex technical requirements.

The project, which featured lettering up to 1m high, was completed within three weeks and utilised many of the company's core skills and manufacturing processes, including laser profiling and drape moulding.

Commercial Director Andy Watkins said this week "This has been a challenging and exciting project that has involved many of our teams – from design to despatch.

"The TEDx event was filmed by BBC TV and livestreamed worldwide so the pressure was on to deliver a finished sign of the highest possible quality.

"So you can imagine how delighted we were to take a personal call from TEDxGlasgow founder Gurjit Singh Lalli to say how impressed he was with the process and final the result."
