MEMPHIS, Tenn. - June 8, 2019 - PRLog -- As a part of their official launch in the city of Memphis, Nation Enrichment Projects (NEP) has announced its 2019 Project RESET Golf Tournament to be held at Mirimichi Golf Course on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., just in time for a great Father's Day gift.

"While this is going to be a fun event, the purpose is very serious," said Andrew Perpener, Executive Director and Founder of Nation Enrichment Projects.   "The funds raised during this tournament will go toward programming for youth of Northern Shelby County in our Project RESET program.  We are able to do this because Mirimichi signed on as our title sponsor and TN State Rep. Parkinson and Shelby County Commissioner Brooks stepped in as co-chairs."

There are eight-square miles of North Shelby County that covers over 80,000 families who need support.  The National Enrichment Projects (http://www.nationep.org/)(NEP) promise to the people of this community is to respond to that need with positive and immediate action that includes after-school programming, mentorship, weekend programming and other services for middle school teens via Project RESET.

"NEP's goals for Northern Shelby County through Project RESET to raise funds to support middle school children, reduce crime and youth gang affiliationby offering productive extracurricular activitiesand provideon-site mentors, tutoring and support are part of my larger objectives for my district," said TN State Rep. Antonio Parkinson.  "So, when I was asked to serve as co-chair, I was happy to do so in order to further the Project RESET initiative."

"NEP believes in empowering youth with the necessary tools for success, and we know in order to achieve those goals, providing a safe space and quality programming is vital," said Project RESET Golf Classic Co-Chair and Shelby County Commissioner Willie Brooks.  "This tournament will make a great impact in the lives of students who are striving for excellence.  However, they cannot do this work without our help. I hope everyone comes out to support the classic this year and for years to come."

To register your team for the Project RESET Golf Classic, visit www.NationEP.org.  Sponsorship opportunities are still available for this year's classic as well as next year. Participants should arrive by 8:00 a.m. for food, beverages and setup.
