Follow on Google News | Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties celebrates successful ninth Women Build seasonBy: Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties Habitat for Humanity's Women Build is a national initiative to engage women in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing. By recruiting, educating and inspiring women to build, they can transform lives in their communities. Since 2011, Women Build in Lee and Hendry counties has partnered with 20 families to build strength and stability for 51 children and their parents through local fundraising and volunteer efforts. Women Build 2019 was generously sponsored by Chico's FAS, Inc., Al and Nancy Burnett Charitable Foundation, Edison National Bank, GL Homes, Hi-Tech Cooling & Controls, Homeownership for All, Pavese Law Firm, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Royal Palm Coast RealtorĀ® Association Housing Foundation, Suncoast Credit Union, Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva, Mark Loren Designs, Matteo Graphics, Norman Love Confections and Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa.
