-- Dr. Bobby Park, co-founder and director of virtual health at RelyMD, will present at the Healthcare Innovation + Investment Conference (Hi2) on June 19. Dr. Park will speak on a panel focused on mobile telehealth.
The Hi2 Conference will take place at the Westin Chicago River North from June 17-19. Dr. Park will serve on the mobile telehealth panel alongside Paul Johnson, chief executive officer and founder of Lemonaid Health; Dave Skibinski, president and chief executive officer of SnapMD; and Prentiss Taylor, vice president of medical affairs for Doctor on Demand. The panel discussion will be moderated by Angela Humpreys of Bass, Berry & Sims.
"In the past, patients often automatically turned to an emergency department or urgent care when illness occurred outside of the window of standard doctor's office hours or in a rural area," said Dr. Park. "Now, telehealth allows access to quality healthcare around the clock, increasing value for everyone involved. It's simultaneously changing the way we practice and lead as physicians and the way patients view and utilize healthcare."
