Amigo Events to launch into mainstream event planning in the UK with the Sao Joao Rain Dance

HOUNSLOW, U.K. - June 4, 2019 - PRLog -- In the crowded world of high end event production, there's a new player in town. One that brings decades of experience, passion, and talent to the table.  Amigo Events is a company that is already producing some of the most talked about events within the Goan and Luso community in London, including the monthly Goan nights in North London and the Carnival event they organised a few months ago drawing massive crowds and the attention of the mainstream industry.

Based in London, United Kingdom, Amigo Events is the Brain Child of 2 very talented, diverse, and passionate partners Simon Rodrigues and Walter D'Costa, originally from Goa, the land of parties. Now living in the United Kingdom with their families they have taken their passion of parties and live shows and converted it into a successful events company.  Although they are brand new to the mainstream events scene in the Untied Kingdom, they have already produced massively successful shows both in the UK and Internationally.

Since last year amigo events have been creating a name for themselves within the Goan community by organising thet Goan night every month featuring live bands, DJ's and exclusive Goan food. These events are known as the party to be at in North London. These successful productions have now taken Amigo Events to the next level, with plans in motion to organise the massive Sao Joao Rain Dance on the 22nd of June in London.  Sao Joao is a Portuguese Goan traditional feast that is celebrated by the Luso community worldwide and is getting more mainstream like the Carnival celebrations. Amigo Events are pioneering the Sao Joao rain dance in the UK with their first annual event of this kind targeting not just the Goan and Luso community but the mainstream pubic that will experience a one of a kind event with artificial rain, a pool where party revellers can jump into, as is the tradition of the feast, and other fun stuff that has never been experienced by party goers in this region before.

"I live and breathe live music, EDM and organising parties," says Simon Rodrigues, Partner, Amigo Events, "so when it comes to organising, design and production of these events, I take on those responsibilities"

Walter D'Costa on the other hand is a well known sound engineer and handles all techincal aspects of the company. "I love sound and lights and have been into live music and EDM production for years," says Walter, Partner, Amigo Events "having a technical person within the company to complement the organisational abilities of Simon just gives us that extra edge"

More than just a typical event production company, Amigo Events can handle every single aspect of an event. From venue selection and negotiation, to stage design and creative content including sound and lights, all the way to ticket sales and crowd management.

Some of their major upcoming events after the Sao Joao rain dance is the London leg of the WOA Summer Tour UK, a massive Halloween party and a Christmas Gala.
