Thirty-six faculty members will represent every aspect of the publishing industry. The SBWC offers a choice of twenty-four daily workshops, as well as panels and appointments with consultants, acquisitions editors, and literary agents.
Fannie Flagg, conference alum and bestselling author says, "If it had not been for this conference, I'd probably still be sitting on a rerun of The Dating Game somewhere." Fannie will introduce opening night keynote speaker and New York Times bestselling author, Lisa See. Lisa will receive the Ross Macdonald Literary Award before giving her evening talk.
Speakers and panels are open to the public. Full-week or daily registration remains open for workshops throughout the conference and includes 24 different daily writing workshops to choose from during the conference week, including two late night "Pirate Workshops".
