-- Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, is pleased to announce that Nadine Adams MSPT, CPT and Educator, has joined the group as a staff Physical Therapist in Women's Health at the Norwell clinic location.
A resident of Hanover, Adams is a Women's Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, a Certified Personal Trainer and a Pilates and Group Exercise Instructor. Adams holds a master's degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College. Her experience includes working in a variety of clinical settings with multiple medical, neurological and orthopedic conditions across the continuum of care. She has spent the past 12 years focused on working with pregnant and post-partum patients and specializes in Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) treatment, pelvic floor and core rehabilitation. Adams owned a private practice and created a Diastasis recti treatment and management program called Restore Your Core REHAB™.
Adams is also a faculty member at Fitness Education Inc., a national certification company, and teaches a variety of continuing education seminars and certification programs for her fitness peers. She guest lectures at local colleges and hospitals and offers educational seminars on optimal core rehabilitation and how to safely exercise during pregnancy and return to exercise post partum. A native of Canton, Adams is an active volunteer with the community service organizationThe Hanover Women's Club, Juniors. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, working out, teaching Barre and Pilates classes, dancing, hiking and walking outdoors.
