Play-Offs Predictions for All-City Classic 302 Legends League

All that talk about who is the best team starts this weekend. It's time for everyone to bring their A game. Over the past 8 weeks we have witnessed players literally quit because this league was too competitive or because they had no faith in their teams. Certain players ducked "rec" and teams called each other out. We witnessed teams who didn't show up so they wouldn't take an embarrassing L. We want to thank players who hung in for a great regular season, but now it's PUT UP OR SHUT UP time. All that talk during the regular season goes out the window. Will DSW show that they're still the best team in the Tri-State? Will Chester prove that their loss to DSW was a fluke or will RBCBL/PHILLY take over the 302 league as champs? Is CBW really the best team in the league? Or will one of the lower seeds upset everyone? Here are predictions for Rounds 1 & 2.

Game 1, Round 1: Noble Nine vs C-City

It's time for Chad and Blake to turn it up for Noble Nine as it's playoff time and that's usually when they're at their best. They should have no trouble Saturday dominating this game. Kwana should have a double double, and Renny & Ant should contribute well on the offensive end. This should be a 17-20pt blowout. C-City will take this L and rethink what they could've done to make their season better. One thing for sure, if they do want to come back next season, they know they will need a couple of ringers. They can't rely on Fuzz and Jamar to score all the points and need players that won't quit on them. So we say are farewell to C-City and we thank them for a successful season.

Game 2, Round 1: Free Agents vs Eastside

Free Agents looked strong in their last 3 games. Boob and JD elevated the game play and they are no longer the laughing stock of the league. They will still have trouble closing games, but they will take care of business today. A reliable source said it's a wrap for Eastside. Free Agents feel confident they will take care of business, even in the absence of big man Abdur. Free Agents will put Eastside out of their misery, 60-47. Eastside will take time out and reevaluate, looking at who they need to add/drop to their roster to make them more competitive. Eastside players have a reputation in this sport but were unable to hold it down all season. We say farewell to Eastside and we thank them for their competitive spirit through this successful season.

Game 1, Round 2: DSW vs Noble Nine

Sunday morning and DSW will put on a show, and Noble Nine will be embarrased. DSW want to make sure that Chester players see the final score as they stretch to get ready for their own game. DSW has a point to make, and what better way to do that, than by playing a team that is scheduled for back to back play-off games. Noble Nine will be tired and will have no fight left. As soon as they allow DSW to get a double figure lead, they might as well just quit. DSW takes this victory 77-52. We say farewell to Noble Nine. They should take time to figure out who they need to add to help them win more then 3 games. We hope they rejoin us next season.

Game 2, Round 2: Chester vs Laced The OG

Laced The OG came into this league without any expectation they would do much, and that's exactly what they've been doing. NOT MUCH. They have been known to blow leads, duck rec, and play with no passion. It sucks they have to play Chester. Chester is going to whoop up on them badly. The refs will call this game early. Chester takes this win with ease. The league realizes that the competition was too much for them to bear, causing some players to run out on the league. We say farewell to Laced The OG, and hope to see them again next season.

Game 3, Round 2
RBCBL/Philly vs Free Agents

Throw in the DAMN TOWEL is what the crowd will be chanting to Free Agents by the end of this game. This has to be the worst thing that could ever happen to them. To face Philly again. Last time they met, Philly went on a 15-1 run after being tied with 2mins left. Free Agents have never recovered from that trifling loss. Philly threw a press on them so quickly and aggressively that Free Agents couldn't get past half-court. They were so scared and discombobulated they couldn't pass, dribble or inbound the ball.  Philly will do the same thing as the last time they played. Philly will bring their A game, because it's playoffs. We say farewell to The Free Agents, and thank you for participation in a successful season.

Game 4 2nd Round Predictions
CBW vs Clay City

Clay City might keep the game close. Strong performances from Steve Green and Lonnie Ward is much needed. New York will do his thing, but Celly and Bub will need to show up. They will be short-handed, but will give it all they've got before falling to CBW, who will start to run away with the lead in the 2nd half. Expect Marky D to punish Clay City. He puts on for every playoff in any league. We say farewell to Clay City and thank you for a great season.
