Several select partners joined the representatives of Dubai Tourism at this roadshow. The list includes both famous hotels and Destination Management Companies based out of Dubai. The list includes City Max Hotel, Adonis Tourism, Jood Palace Hotel, North Tours, Groups Travel Tourism, Dubai College of Tourism, Novotel Hotel Al Barsha and of course, Rayna Tours and Travels.
The roadshow showcased the wide range of super affordable luxury experiences offered by Dubai tourism. The tourism proposition spans accommodation, entertainment, travel, city events and much more. As always, the focus was on wholesome family travel, since Dubai Tourism is very family-oriented.
Ms. Faranaaz, the Sales Manager at Rayna Tours and Travels ably represented the roadshow. The road show was held at Cape Town on the 13th of May, and in Durban on the 15th of May, and at Johannesburg on the 17th of May. The series of events that comprised the roadshow was outstanding and beautiful and was much appreciated by all. Stella Obinwa, Dubai Tourism's Regional Director in Africa spoke at length about how Dubai Tourism sees South Africa as a key focus market for tourism in the African region. She further went on to say that Africa has and will continue to play a major role in Dubai's diversified market strategy. Dubai Tourism looks forward to leverage Africa's immense potential in this area in the future. According to Stella Obinwa, road shows such as these are a great way to meet and enlighten local travel partners on everything that Dubai has to offer to tourists.
Dubai is attractive to tourists at a global level mainly because of its accessibility. Add to that the fact that Dubai is home to more than 110 attractions, comprising of fabulous theme parks and shopping malls. The roadshow aimed to provide Dubai's travel agencies the necessary support they need to improve their sales figures. It also serves to help introduce travel agencies to various and DMC's and help register them for Dubai Expert Certification. The roadshow also aims to generate plenty of opportunity for local travel operators by facilitating their meetings with Dubai's top partners.
Many people have a reason to visit Dubai, whether they're young couples, families or business travelers. Through the roadshow, the organizers hope to help their African partners take a good look at Dubai's offerings, and build strong trade relationships.
