Follow on Google News | NTI Introduces a Fan-Aspirated Temperature/Humidity/Dew Point SensorVPI's Fan-Aspirated Temperature/Humidity Sensor compensates for parasitic heating due to electrical power dissipation and/or exposure to solar radiation.
The E-STHS-LSH has an internal fan that consistently draws air in over the sensor, providing highly accurate temperature readings. It is ideal for installations where steep temperature gradients are common, where there is little to no air flow, or for use in freezers where there is intermittent air flow. The Fan-Aspirated Sensor supports applications from -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C) and 0 to 90% relative humidity, and supports dew point measurement. It has a temperature accuracy of ±0.90°F (±0.5°C) for -4 to 14°F (-20 to -10°C) and ±0.72°F (±0.4°C) for 14 to 140°F (-10 to 60°C). Humidity accuracy is ±3% at 10 to 80% relative humidity and ±4% at 80 to 90% relative humidity. The sensors' aspiration rate is 1 cfm (0.2 ft/s).
