Opera Naples' Summer Youth Program Presents The Mikado
By: Opera Naples
The Mikado is fun for the entire family as Victorian England meets an imaginary imperial Japan. Sparkling satire, famous melodies, and captivating silliness abound in this topsy-turvy tale of love and misadventures.
Under the direction of Louis Dall'Ava of the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players and Robin Frank, participants of the Opera Naples Summer Youth Program spend two weeks preparing to perform The Mikado. They also participate in workshops including, vocal techniques, acting, yoga, movement, and more.
Tickets to the performances are currently available for purchase for $9 for children and $18 for adults with an additional $3 processing fee. To purchase tickets or for more information, please call (239) 963-9050 or visit operanaples.org.
