Dr. NYC Presents I Forgive Me! It's Time To Talk About It! And Is Changing the Lives of Women
The I Forgive Me Movement Has Begun with Dr. NYC at the Helm!
Prior to the event beginning a hearty reception was held and catered by E' Cha Heart Out Catering Services. This reception allowed the women to break the ice and get to know one another through meaningful conversations which assisted greatly in creating an environment of Freedom and Safety.
Dr. NYC opened the event with Spoken Word Artist, Elle Vintage who set the place ablaze as she took the ladies on a journey of truth and transparency of real life challenges women have faced and continue to face daily. This was a perfect Segway into the start of something truly soul stirring.
Dr. NYC quickly transitioned the attention in the room to the first panel of ladies and the questions that were submitted by the various women. The questions were without a doubt thought provoking. These thought provoking questions brought many of the women to tears as they looked back in retrospect on their journey, considered their current realities and shared their personal heart-felt stories. Some of the questions which sparked conversation were:
The love, acceptance and support in the room was authentic and rich. Purposeful conversations amongst the ladies lasted approximately two and a half hours and ended with Dr. NYC letting the ladies know the worth of the event could last for hours and it was not going to be the end of the conversation.
Dr. NYC closed by giving her own testimony of how the event materialized and actually formed due to a challenging and heart breaking event which took place in her personal life.
I Forgive Me! It's Time to Talk About It! ended with all the ladies creating one gigantic circle connected by holding hands as the DJ, Bryan Barnes softly played I Forgive Me by James Fortune & FIYA played in the background.
After the closing prayer the women hugged, took pictures, exchanged contact information and exited the building with enormous smiles on their faces.
We can't wait to see what will take place next with the I Forgive Me Movement because we know it will grow stronger and more intense.
