"Toastmasters helps me think more clearly, speak more coherently, and lead more confidently." "I joined an open club at RBC in January 1991 and was originally "encouraged" by my boss to join Toastmasters to help me communicate more effectively in meetings.  That confidence in the boardroom, and my continued success over the next three decades, I attribute to Toastmasters."

Effective July 1st 2019, Dawn will provide leadership and guidance to over 4,000 Toastmasters in over 200 clubs within the District. Her team of 9 Division Directors, over 45 Area Directors, Executive and Administrative Officers will focus on clubs growth and members' education

Wendy Williamson, presently a member of Keynote Speakers Advanced Toastmasters club joined her first club in 2010. "The first day I started my course to prepare for my PMP our instructor said, "Join Toastmasters if you want to be successful". Following that I went to work for BMO and within a month I joined their corporate sponsored club in 2010. The skills developed in the Toastmasters program successfully prepared me to confidently lead project meetings for business and IT stakeholders in Capital Markets and communicate business needs effectively."

Effective July 1st 2019, Wendy will be responsible for all aspects of education and training within the District.

Aneeta Pathak joined the North York Toastmasters club in 2013. Effective July 1st, 2019, she will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, club building and club retention efforts within the district.

"As a member of the North York Toastmasters club, I had the opportunity to regularly practice my communication and leadership skills. The beauty about Toastmasters is that I meet enthusiastic and optimistic people who are working on their personal development and also take an interest in the self-development of those around them."
