NAAFA to Feature DJ Kelly J at 50th Anniversary Conference Fashion Show
One of the highlights of a NAAFA conference is the plus-size fashion show and every good fashion show needs music. Las Vegas local DJ Kelly J rounds out the team that will make this stunning event complete.
Born in Detroit, Kelly J's love for music and the arts started at a young age, but it wasn't until she moved to Las Vegas, NV that her love became a desire to pursue music as a career. "I always wanted to be a part of the movement that creates a positive atmosphere for people," stated DJ Kelly J. At the age of 19, she obtained a position for XRadio.Biz, an online radio station, one of the first of its kind at the time, as an on-air personality and staff producer. She has worked in many nightclubs, festivals and venues, along with guest DJ slots for various radio stations across the country.
Las Vegas locals may have experienced DJ Kelly J on 88.1fm KCEP in Las Vegas where she's currently heard on the airwaves or at CraveLV size positive events. Big thanks to Aby Deal for referring us to a DJ who is familiar with size diversity and inclusion.
