The Holy Bible God's light to us.
- May 20, 2019
-- Often, believers in Jesus - those who have accepted him as Savior and Master of their lives, are looking at the Christian lives of others but they are not examining their own hearts toward God. Are they facing their own true motives, rather than those they want other people to believe they have?
Some Christians are constantly examining other Chrstians, when they should be looking inwardly. "The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one's inmost being." - (Proverbs 20:27 NIV) If God is looking into our Christian lives and hearts (our core being), should we not being looking into ourselves as well, to make sure we are pleasing to God? Can a motive they perceive to have, that is secretly something else, be as important as their eternal life (No.)?
Christians will stand before Jesus at "The Judgement Seat of Christ" and be rewarded for works they have done in this natural life. Some will not have rewards but will make Heaven only by the skin of their teeth (1 Corinthians 3:15). If one is judged at "The Great White Throne Judgement", they will not make it into Heaven at all; not being found in the book of life they are cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:12-15). It's a very serious aspect of our Christianity. This audio is a streaming teaching and free. Please also see my titles on Amazon - Books, eBooks and Audiobooks.
